Ladd's role in Charlie's Angels as Kris Munroe is one of her most prominent roles. In 1977, she joined the show amid the publicity about the second season of the show to replace Farrah Farrah Majors. Ladd continued to be a part of the series until it was cancelled in 1981. Cheryl Ladd made her Hollywood debut in the role of Melody performing voice on The Josie and the Pussycats energetic series.
